Svetlana Tarnopolskaya is a partner, attorney and a head of group of support of credit institutions insolvency.
In 2001 she graduated from the Russian school of private law (Law Research center under the President of the Russian Federation magistracy). Became an attorney in 2002.
Specialization: competition law, law of obligations, commercial litigation. Svetlana manages projects, mainly in the field of banks insolvency. Her work includes: comprehensive legal support of insolvency proceedings of credit institutions at the stage of bankruptcy proceedings (legal services to the State Corporation “Agency for deposits insurance”), the issues of recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments on the territory of the Russian Federation, disputes concerning application of consequences of invalidity of transactions, disputes concerning the rights to immovable property; preparation of legal opinions for complex issues of law enforcement.
She participated in several projects related to corporate conflicts, represented the interests of large companies and government agencies; engaged in projects in the sphere of legislative activity, in particular, prepared the legal opinion on draft Arbitration procedural code of the Russian Federation and the Federal constitutional law “For amendments and addenda to the Federal constitutional law “About arbitration courts in the Russian Federation”. She has scientific publications and is fluent in English.
